So it’s Thursday during the last week of August 2013 and I am relishing the last days of being 36. I’ll admit, having a hard time nearing the end of my 30’s. But what an amazing almost 7 years in this decade of my life it’s been! Two kids, celebrating 11 years of marriage, a cross-country move, job changes and opportunities and a couple new creative projects under my belt. To say the least it’s been busy and never boring!

This is my first attempt at blogging so if I’m boring, bear with me, it will hopefully get more interesting. I hope to to use this blog to show off my projects, cool recipes, photography and to simply keep a journal of sorts to help keep me sane! Because who couldn’t stand to get a little more sane? Of course as I write this, my darling first born is yelling at me because I’m making her wear tennis shoes instead of her dress shoes to school. I am evil mom. Did I mention she’s only in kindergarten? I’m doomed.

I’m off to get another cup of coffee to help with the day ahead.
