I’m a mom of two girls, a graphic designer, a student and like chaos apparently. We moved to Northern Virginia in 2012 and have no regrets! We miss our friends and some of the dry heat of the desert, but it’s so good to be back on the East Coast.

I’m happy to post pictures of what’s going on with this crazy family of mine, but you won’t see many pictures of my kids themselves. I’m not too crazy about having them plastered all over the web so I look for creative ways to show them without showing them!

I’ve tried to take up crochet and am working on a few projects that I hope I can finish before too long and I’m trying to get back into taking pictures, I have zero attention span and I’m too busy for my own good.

Working full time as a Marketing Specialist for an orthopaedic practice, still doing my design, attending online classes at UVA, coaching soccer keep me on my toes all the while, trying to stay out of trouble, but what fun is that? As the saying goes, Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History.

I am writing this blog to try and push myself in new directions. I want to explore more writing and photography and other creative outlets. Here’s hoping I can stick with it, I am a master procrastinator, always have been but I need to start doing what I need to do to make my life more rich. I want to make a difference, with my kids, my friends and my community.

I just turned 40 and I hope to spend the next year, showing you how this year goes. They say 40 is the new 20, right? I hope not!
