Photography

I have an AA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I went in thinking I would be on the sidelines of professional sports taking those awesome action shots for Sports Illustrated. It was not to be, and I switched to the Graphic Design program, but that doesn’t mean I gave up my love of photography, I just shifted gears and now do it for fun.

I love to post my images to Instagram, which you can follow here and I hope to post tips, tricks, and interesting articles I find as well that can help you break out that creativity and just enjoy taking photos.

There is nothing better than creating something. As Kurt Vonnegut said,

“If you want to really hurt you parents, go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possible can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”
